Through the lives of a doctor, a farmer, an artist, a modern lumberjack, and one whose home is the land itself, the film becomes a reflection of human society itself. That reflection takes root in this particular soil — through patient observation of nature, the film traces the collective unconscious of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
